I'm not even quite finished reading this, but LOVE it. Puck is a great main character - she's very afraid of taking part in the races, and yet is so brave, and driven by her responsibility for her brother. The setting itself is a character - the island of Thisby unlike any other place. Really strong writing, gripping story.
